I know his republican opponent is Religious Right, so generally anti-personal freedom,certainly anti-gay, and fairly populist. She is also a former CONservative talk radio show host, which generally means bad on immigration, and supportive of a police state, hardline on law & order.

I can't confirm his support for either of those issues but I believe he is at least warming up to the idea because much of his support is from FSPers and 9/12ers. The big test is whether he's man enough to stand up to the NH Police Chiefs group. Obviously, the current democratic Governor doesn't support decrim or mm, so changing the guard is a good idea at this point. We have a spending problem here and Kimball is great on that issue as well as for protecting NH Sovereignty. I would have to label him more of a libertarian than a mainstreamer republican.
