The "War" in Iraq: Victory at Last

Even those of you who are pacifists or "oppose war" on some deontology or absolute principle should be able to take some semblance of something like relief from this. Despite the word "Democratic" in the headline, the real progress in Iraq is not the emerge

When did he say this? Nice to know that we aren't the only ones mentioning this essential truth.

That "zeitgeist movement" is a 9/11 troofer communist earth-god cult... 1. There is nothing wrong with fractional reserve banking as such. There is nothing wrong with money as such. These are natural and optimal things that emerge out of voluntary…

This coming from the guy who is trying to get people to call themselves emergent voluntaryists. Come on. You don't "label" the sky as being blue. You acknowledge the fact that it is blue. You could label it as being "emergent cyano-chromatic", I sup…

some words have undeniable meanings based on their language of origin. No, that is wrong. You are engaging in etymological fallacy: http://www.iep.utm.edu/fallacy/#Etymological Cling to the ideas, not obsolete and counterproductive labels.

I'm not making a prescriptive case for anything, government, non-government, or otherwise.. This is descriptive. I'm talking about something happening in actual reality.

Hillarious. "Political Correctness" comes to the freedom movement. Humbug. Just as the morons in the District of Criminals can keep their "differently abled" and other bullshit terms in order to make the truth sound more gentle to the weak of heart,…

Since this is a matter about which I've spoken at length, I feel duty-bound to address this directly: The guy is both being sarcastic and giving in to what I refuse to. He mentions the exact phenomenon against which I am personal rebelling, word the…

Sorry, Cal, but if that's really what you're trying to point out then you chose both the wrong source and the wrong passages. You've essentially defeated your own argument by saying "since government instituted things, non-governmental institutions…

aargh. I'm not arguing the morality or efficiency of this war, guys. I'm pointing out that the progress in Iraq is due to the emergence of non-government institutions.

Okay, so let me get this straight: A government shill outlet uses a poster that was widely derided for being obviously false to flag their claim that a puppet government in a war-torn country that's still a gnat's ass south of civil war (as it has b…

Is that you who reblogged my old BCS post about all the pandering and false promises from change.gov?

They're artists. They're Russians. Do you understand? Russians. All of them are inside communism; not outside it as you are. All of them are actually living (or rather dying) an unprecedented experiment, not merely observing it with an analytic eye, far less dreaming about it.

Just finished reading your debate over on the Mutualism group. You guys were cracking me up until you made your apology. That was hugely big and aware of you. My admiration. And also, I'm very glad you guys did have that debate because I learned a lot about how some people interpret the word "value". It's good to hear that some schooled individuals understand that the act of valuation happpens on a neurological level before the act of comparisons.

And by the way, even though I could tell, as an objective reader, that you two were arguing different points, I was still on your side. The semantic importance of differentiating between value and the revelation of value seems to me to be of great importance. Failing to do so implies an arrogance I think would lead to an assumption that one can plan economies.

Yes, you do. Exploitation theory rests on the labor theory of value. Google "exploitation theory" ffs.

Funny how you misuse tautology ("what X is exchanged for" IS it's "price") via semantics and complain about "abuse of semantics." The only way to get EV<->UV is by assuming money-utility is universal and constant.. which is childishly stupid.

Arr.. it annoys me that people who know 0 about basic econ read Marx or Carson and then go around spreading this nonsensical crap. arrrrr
