Tomorrow is Independence Day, not just the 4th of July.

While interacting with people tomorrow who wish you a "happy 4th" or "happy 4th of July", politely correct them and let them know it is in fact Independence Day. Now I know what you're thinking, the Declaration of Independence didn't really make anyone free, so who cares? You're right, but one of the nice things about America is it has a rich fantasy history of freedom that people love. So use it to your advantage.
